Heirlooms Fabric Consultation

Whether you prefer the silky smoothness of sateen, the crisp freshness of percale, or the relaxed sophistication of linen, this consultation ensures you find the perfect match for your bed.

The Weave
carefully selected weave mills enable us to bring the very finest fabrics to create your perfect choice in luxury linens.
The Sateen weave uses threads that are mercerised to create a smooth finish with a soft sheen on the woven fabric. The Percale weave’s threads are not usually mercerised, creating a cool crisp fabric with a matte finish.

Thread Count

Measured by counting the number of threads contained in 1 square inch including the warp (vertical) and weft (horizontal thread). The higher the thread count, the higher number of threads per square inch and the finer the weave.
The Style
Heirlooms have an exciting abundance of styles of luxury bed linen available.
For this reason, clients can customise their linen designs by applying any of the following:
- Contrast borders
- Inset borders
- Piping
- Embroidery
Once you pick a style, you can choose to use a jacquard fabric as the main body of the linens. Alternatively, we can apply the fabric as a contrast or inset border.

Consequently, the options are excitingly limitless.
The Colour
Once the style has been chosen, it’s time to choose colours that will complement the interior design.
It’s important to understand that each fabric quality has its own palette of colours.

We usually recommend the 300tc cotton sateen or the 200tc cotton percale as accents on your linen, such as a contrast border, as they are fabrics with the most colour options available.

Of course, we know how important it is to get the right colour to complement your current bedroom design scheme. Therefore, we can provide fabric samples and colour charts to help you make confident decisions.
The Personal Touch
As a brand, we are also committed to thoughtfulness.
Accordingly, for truly unique linen we can add a personal touch by embroidering any of the following:
- Your initials
- A monogram
- An entirely bespoke embroidery inspired by features of the room or residence
The Proof
After discussing your choices, we can provide digitised drawings of your bed linen designs.
At this stage we can easily make amendments or provide guidance and options.

In addition, our passion for the perfect look means we also provide A4 samples on request of your pillowcase design. This is the perfect opportunity to see your vision.

We provide samples upon confirmation of the budget and final approval based on design and colours.
Delivery
Once you have confirmed your final choice, allow six weeks to receive your order
