British Craftsmanship for Life on Board and Beyond

For nearly four decades, Heirlooms has been dedicated to one enduring pursuit: creating exceptional bespoke linens that elevate comfort in the world’s most refined environments. From our West Sussex workshop, every piece is cut, stitched and finished by hand, shaped by the expertise of craftspeople whose skills have been developed over many years. As one of a select group of British manufacturers to hold two Royal Warrants, our heritage is not simply a legacy — it is an everyday standard.

Heirlooms works across yachts, private residences, aviation and specialist hospitality projects, translating highly personal briefs into linens that balance precision, beauty and performance. Whether outfitting a superyacht, a ski lodge, a private villa or a luxury sleeper train, our approach is consistent: carefully considered materials, exacting manufacture and a deep understanding of how textiles influence daily life.

The Science — and Art — of Sleep

Comfort and wellbeing sit at the heart of everything we do. Sleep, in particular, plays a defining role in the onboard and residential experience, and the fabrics closest to the body have a profound effect on rest and recovery. Our percale, sateen and linen collections are developed to deliver optimal breathability, softness and durability, supporting a sleep environment that feels restorative rather than indulgent alone. For owners, guests and crew alike, exceptional sleep is not a luxury — it is essential.

Craftsmanship Passed Forward

Alongside quality, the preservation of textile skills is a core value for Heirlooms. At a time when skilled manufacturing is increasingly rare, we remain committed to nurturing talent within the UK. Through partnerships with local schools, colleges and universities, we offer work placements, studio visits and career talks, introducing young people to the creative and commercial realities of textile manufacturing. By investing in education and mentorship, we help ensure that the craftsmanship defining British luxury not only survives, but evolves.

Innovation with Integrity

Innovation continues to shape our future. Alongside our established collections, we are preparing to introduce new fabrics and finishes in 2026, including a refined range of piqués and an innovative weave combining pure cotton with micromodal. Derived from renewable beechwood, micromodal offers a silk-like hand feel with the breathability of cotton, alongside strong sustainability credentials. These developments allow us to enhance texture, performance and environmental responsibility without compromising the integrity of our manufacturing process.

Design Without Compromise

While fabrics are fundamental, design is where each project becomes truly personal. Our team works closely with owners, designers and crew to develop schemes that respond to an interior’s aesthetic, functional demands and individual character. From bespoke embroidery and monogramming to custom sizing, colour development and detailing, the process is collaborative and precise — ensuring the final result feels effortless, cohesive and entirely unique.

As expectations within the yachting and private sectors continue to evolve, so too does Heirlooms. Yet our philosophy remains unchanged: British-made linens, crafted with care, innovation and generational skill. At Heirlooms, luxury is not simply supplied — it is made, by hand, to last.
