Fine & Country has recently unveiled a beautiful new feature video celebrating the craftsmanship, heritage and philosophy behind Heirlooms. We are delighted to share a closer look along with our favourite moments of the visit.
The feature reflects how we are quietly championing the highest standards of bespoke British linen-making. Founded in West Sussex in 1984, we remain committed to producing exceptional bed, table and bathroom linens for clients who value true quality.
“Each piece is meticulously cut, sewn and finished by skilled artisans, ensuring exceptional precision and enduring quality,” says Ruth Douglas, Managing Director, “we combine traditional handcraft with thoughtful engineering to create linens that are beautifully made, technically resilient and tailored to each client’s unique lifestyle. True luxury is crafted with intention, integrity and care.”
Despite its growth, we remain proudly family‑oriented. Many team members have spent decades refining their craft within the business, contributing to a culture rooted in collaboration and care.
“We are incredibly proud of the collaborative culture we have nurtured,” Ruth shares, “that sense of teamwork is reflected in the attention to detail and the love and care with which every item is made.”
For Ruth and the team, the emotional connection to their craft remains central.
“It truly feels like the best job in the world,” Ruth reflects, “there is no greater pride than hearing from clients who tell us how much they love the products we have made for them. Everyone deserves a good night’s sleep, and knowing we help create that brings enormous joy.”
Fine & Country’s visit beautifully brings our story to life — offering a behind‑the‑scenes look at our workshop, ethos and dedication to craftsmanship.
