For its 31st year, Port Hercule in Monte Carlo hosted the world-renowned Monaco Yacht Show. Each year, the breath-taking super yachts and glorious sunshine draws visitors from across the globe to browse the unparalleled talent of design and innovation within the Marine industry. The perfect place to demonstrate Heirlooms’ dedication and commitment to provide a unique and personalised service to our yacht clients.
The familiar Parvis Piscine tent at the show is home to yacht interior design and decoration where Heirlooms revealed fresh and creative designs for their 19th year at the show. Every year we plan something different to show and this year was no exception. In fact, probably one of our best yet!
Planning our stand for 2022 brought an exciting buzz to our workshop, knowing that this year we were designing a completely new stand. An exciting luxury pool side Beach Club vibe was created combining warm toned wood slatting and a back-lit poolside graphic for our front desk. Inspiration for our products was drawn from the vibrance of Monte Carlo’s luxury beach clubs and colourful floral displays. Tones of coral pinks, sea greens and lively oranges splashed across the products on our luxury linen exhibition stand.
We explored and tested new fabrics with exciting designs which complemented the brand-new scheme. From gorgeously soft textured fabrics to intricately embroidered designs, we are committed to displaying quality products with fun and fresh designs to show off our bespoke capabilities. The combination of luxury textures and carefully chosen colours created an inspirational sensory experience, emphasising Heirlooms creative skills.
Our hero range, The Tahiti Collection, introduced an embroidered fabric with a delightfully exotic hibiscus design. This collection of bed linen, beach bags, wash bags and towels were a haven of texture and the dominant Tahiti fabric displayed proudly throughout the theme. Piping and embroidery in playful colours picked out the details in the background, giving them their own spotlight in the designs.
With manufacturing confidence and know how we experimented with haberdashery using whimsical tassels and embroidery tapes for decorative cushions and bags. These accessories were a huge hit with our visitors with many commenting, “They are absolutely stunning!”.
Who doesn’t love a well-crafted unique and beautiful beach bag? We designed new styles for our beach going enthusiasts embellishing our durable fabrics with bold embroidery and lively fringes, playing into an exotic tribal theme. All finished with waterproof lining, pockets and a zip closure to keep the sand out! We do love a functional and practical design!
Our “Beach Club” was styled with luxurious faux florals, kindly donated by Grace & Eden. Who worked with our design team to provide arrangements that added warmth, dazzle and an exotic vibe. The Marmalade Sun arrangement added zest and exuberance whilst the Aloe Vera added that Mediterranean feel.
As the classic horns of the super yachts sounded across the port, we reflected on the wonderful comments we received throughout the show. It is a pleasure to offer linens with our bespoke nature, bringing comfort and style to your every day. We truly enjoy being able to demonstrate new ideas and to use our creativity when discussing our client’s linens requirements for their unique projects.
Our next event is Chelsea Design Centre’s “Twinkle of Christmas” fair where Heirlooms will be showcasing a variety of Christmas bed linens, table linens and throws, available to buy in time for the festive season. The fair starts 30th November to 3rd December and we hope to see you there. Now it’s time to start looking ahead and planning for Monaco 2023 for another fun filled design driven show. Our mood board is already in progress!
