The Golden Compass is a 2007 fantasy adventure film based on the 1995 book Northern Lights, the first novel in Philip Pullman's trilogy His Dark Materials. The film depicts the adventures of an orphan living in a parallel universe where a dogmatic ruling power called the Magisterium opposes free inquiry. We were pleased to supply several sets of bed linens in our popular 'Classic Plain' 570tc cotton sateen. The production studios requested linen sets in gold and cream which resulted in indulgent interiors.
